Marcia Bayne-Smith

Marcia Bayne-Smith, with a doctorate in social work, formerly taught in the Department of Health and Physical Education and recently moved to the Urban Studies Department. Her research and publications deal with issues of teen pregnancy and immigrant health. Her service to the wider community has included serving as Chair of the Caribbean Womens Health Association and member of a number of City-wide committees on minority health issues. Bayne-Smith teaches courses on Women and Health, Community Organizations, and Introduction to Public Policy.
