Department of Urban Studies, Hagedorn Fund Experiential Learning Course Enhancement Grants

Thanks to generous support from the Hagedorn Fund, the Urban Studies Department offers Experiential Learning Activities Course Enhancement Grants. These grants support course-specific activities that foster an experiential learning environment. Experiential Learning = pedagogical activity where students “learn by doing” – that is, activities that feature active and embodied engagement with course related issues and themes (i.e. field trips, tours, service learning projects, taking students to a conference, lecture, museum, campus gardening, travel for students conducting research IN THE FIELD such as interviews, surveys, etc).
