The Department of Urban Studies awards up to $1,000 to Urban, Labor and Environmental Studies Majors who are among the first generation in their family to attend a four-year college in the United States.

Eligibility:

• Student is among the first generation in their family to attend a four-year college in the United States. If your parent(s) or caregivers attended college in a country other than the United States, you ARE still eligible for this award.
• Student has junior or senior standing. May graduates ARE eligible to apply!
• Student has not previously won a Hagedorn Award for First Generation College Students
• Student has declared an Urban, Labor, or Environmental Studies major or minor.
